I don't go to MIT.
The glass is decent in the 50mm I have, but the construction and focus sucks ass. I think when I get a new lens, it'll be the better 50mm.
I think tradition is where it's at. Light blue hull, white deck. Dark colors in general aren't really an option anyway because on a sunny day they'll fry your flesh.
Reposted, 'cause I'm a sucker for grammar.
I discovered that my grandfather has a Sunfish of comparable condition in his barn that I can have for free. Woo!
Plus some vegetable soup. (kevinr: It would have been canned clam chowder. :)
Whoops... (Note to self: Don't mistake doxory.com for the test server.)
They're already backed up (to more than one place!) as it is. Having them in one place will make that slightly easier though, and in general, easier to manage, I think.
Well, I didn't clean last night, but I plan to today.
Decided to write on "Oasis" directed by Lee Chang-Dong.
While I don't have qualms about auditioning, I don't think I have the time to actually make all the rehearsals and performances. If that changes, I might go out for it next year.
Great suggestions. I ended up not taking either this semester, but we'll see what happens in the future.
A little encouragement helped...
Re-asked question to be more clear about "tomorrow" meaning "today."
I might end up watching it before I sleep tonight...
Didn't have to choose.
However, the choice is moot because I successfully wiggled my way into the class.
Wide-angle will be next after mid-range zoom, but it's hard to get a nice wide-angle for a DSLR because of the focal length multiplier.
Didn't get as many photos printed as I wanted (and too busy tomorrow to process more).
With luck I'll be going to San Francisco where I can stay with a good friend. Very unlikely to be road tripping there though (no car).

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
