Easier to slop timing on the French (so works well with working from home), plus I can get a pretty decent crust. Mmm, crust. Might make a challah later tonight or this week though.
Today, we've learned an important lesson...
Entered the lottery, but failed to get in :(
Picked up groceries and tackled a work bug at home.
Swimming moved unexpectedly to another evening, so looks like I might be able to do both.
I would've been playing hockey, not watching, duh ;P But nethack is more compatible with the drinking-after-work plan AND the dayshift plan.
Pistachio baklava!
Hopefully it won't be too awkward!
Too much effort :) If they run a flu clinic at work, I'll probably try to sign up.
Forgot ctl is out of town next week -- we'll wait until the weekend and take the new-but-less-shiny-new train then. Or maybe later.
We're supposedly getting curtains.
Pantry for now. We'll see how that goes.
Given that I'm fairly hosed at work and my blood pressure didn't change much the last two times I visited the doctor's office (and was significantly below the cutoff), I think I punt since there's little chance I'd pass on everything anyway.
MMMM PEACH COBBLER
Found something while biking through Davis earlier today (*brake* "hey ctl, mind if I check out that shop realy quick?"). Dunno which I'll actually wear.
It's *almost* like I just slept in for the weekend!
Need to figure out some key bindings to get it less mouse-dependent, but so far I'm enjoying it.
It sounds like the mob is likely to be kinda big, and it's hard to actually get a chance to talk with someone when that happens. Maybe I can catch her for coffee or lunch during the week.
Didn't actually get beyond cutting and pinning before running into tension problems. Ah well.
I RSVP'd positively. Now to not forget to go.
Of the ones still purchasable, the canoe has Boston valves and the kayak doesn't.
A few pages in. It's ok so far, but I think I might find Niven annoying.
I'll probably string them up (possibly vertically and not horizontally though - good idea, trs!)
kyrandil -- it's exactly what it sounds like: plushie that looks like a "vi". Poke me to see/for photos in a week or so (assuming I can get batting from riv :)
Checked in with my instructor, and we both thought weather and logistics would be too annoying. But this gives me time to try to make a vi plushie!
I made up for it with a chocolate and blueberry breakfast :)
We ended up T-ing. Afterwards, we walked to Downtown Crossing to avoid the crowds, but they ended up not being bad at all since so many people punted due to the rain. So much for New England stoicism!
It's the middle of summer right now, so I'll wait until fall offerings are posted to think about it. If anyone wants to take Spanish at CCAE with me in the fall, poke me.
He finally got in touch. Poland lacks Internet.
It just doesn't look or smell or feel like rain...
Just one day of spraying/counter wiping seems to have made a big difference. Now I just need to remember to keep it up every morning.
Alright, alright, "read Dune already", got it. Will do on the next long plane ride (unless sleeping starts looking more exciting).
Barcelona only for the whole week.
Too complicated, and a week's not that long anyway -- staying in Barcelona the whole time.
Starting off with buying one read book for each one I haven't read, with the intention of eventually having the full series. Amazon 4-for-3 helps. Ping me if you want to borrow :)
Not going to Andalucia after all. Sigh. Some other trip!
I slept in waaaaaaaay late. It was awesome. But I think I'll go outside instead of playing FF6.
This was tough, but I decided to punt the tourney. It's too soon after getting back to the States, and I already got a lot out of a smaller-scale Ohio trip where I saw pretty much everyone I would have hoped to see at the tournament. There were a few other reasons, but that's basically it. Sorry to disappoint, doxory -- just not stupid enough to try it this time :)
Registered for guestlist.
If we go outside Barcelona, it will probably not be to Madrid. Beyond that, we're still waffling.

Not quite the first cheap scanner, but not doing a thorough job at all on this.
I'll get Flickr pro the next time I run out of quota. The issue hasn't resurfaced since I've posted this question.
Though starting them after midnight was probably not the most clever of ideas.
HUNGRY! Getting DINNER!
I stayed up late reading ursulav's new book, slept in til 1, then napped for a little longer. It was awesome.
It turned out after I bought the tickets I could have split a taxi ride with others, but I hate being awake before 7am anyway.
Found possible lessons/ride elsewhere!
Watching a movie last night kept me up til a whopping 10pm, which has helped me mostly shift back to normalcy! (Except for that being really sleepy at 10pm thing)
Both! Only going Saturday evening and back Sunday evening.
Uploading a few now, more later.
Found a minor bug in the project that was put aside for testing. Now running around with a hammer and some Raid.
This ended up being better/cheaper (sort of) since it turns out I should only buy a single ticket to Spain if I do go.
Either that or heading home to flop.
This is making me think too hard. Status quo for the win!
Bringing swimsuit. We'll see if I actually swim, given that I managed to klutzily pull something mildly when I tripped on the way home last night.
Killing this question since the answer buttons are sad and trying again
Made it a half-sick day -- plugged for a few hours with many breaks, but not for a full eight hours.
Skipping Nethack class entirely :(

PG Dive class before vacation: http://pgdive.com/pgdinstructionlearntodivecp.htm
Until I manage to ditch my T pass, I think I'm going to end up being a lazy bum :( Maybe if I get a chain tool so removing and cleaning my chain will be easier...
