Question about facial hair. I've had a beard/moustache goatee for 5-6 years....

I decided to do Something else rather than Keep it or Shave it (2 years ago)

The comments are completely tied -- sigh. Maybe I'll shave just for a change; it'd only take a few weeks to grow back.

I'm considering getting sucked into java for a small project. If I do so, I'll have to install a appserver on one of my computers, and write and deploy test apps. Should I do everything by hand (code in emacs, install server by hand, code ant script by hand), or should I use a IDE environment (like Netbeans or Eclipse)? ...

Ugh. Installing Eclipse, Java, and Tomcat on Ubuntu was horrible. Eventually, I got it working. Tip of the day: don't use debian packages, the java ones don't involve actual java.
