Still up in the air

Am going overseas for spring break, but will return to a pile of (largely computer-based) work....
Leave laptop at home, maybe bring papers / printouts / photocopies. leads over Take my laptop (and deal with the security issues) and pick one or two things to finish while there. (2 years ago)

I have a summer internship app due in a week (and a bunch of others at the end of the month). One of the people I asked to write a letter (and I think it'll be a good one) is out of town until the due date....
Stall; assure the internship people the rec will be in as soon as my (admittedly famous) writer will get around to it? leads over Find somebody else to write that one rec, and have him do the others? (2 years ago)
