Wednesday - Sunday trip to SF. The Sunday is on Memorial Day weekend....

never really day-shifted. Was really glad I was night-shifted for Roast, though. The coffe and cognac helped.

I picked Go to Spain, which is low on my list of places to visit, but I expect would actually be pretty cool. And two friends are going to be getting married there, and I'd really like to be there, and, well, only happens once :) over Go to Juneau, which I've been meaning to do for several years and where I now have a new (adoped) cousin I want to meet. June is the best month to visit, so I probably wouldn't get to go until 2008 if i don't go now. (3 years ago)

After 3.5 years I've ~convinced myself that I can't beat the market after commissions by investing in stocks with the amount of money I've comfortable playing with. I psychologically categorize this money as part of my emergency savings - it'll just hang out until retirement unless there's something I really need it for....

I picked Pull it out and stick it in an index fund where it'll get a better return and I won't have to think about it. over Keep the money in stocks anyway. I'm not counting on it for anything and it causes me to pay attention to the market, which is possibly good and sometimes amusing, sometimes stressful for no good reason. (3 years ago)

I've been convinced I shouldn't buy things for myself so close to my birthday :)

I'm exhausted from getting little sleep due to work last night. I need to stay are for for another two hours. I've been terrible to my body food/sleepwise. I need to do some more work, but reading if making me woozy....
