Still up in the air

Half Full leads over Half Empty (3 years ago)
Really try and get some web design/programming jobs as a freelancer - the money should be good, and it would look good on a resume and boosts my confidence. leads over Forget about it, Focus on my schoolwork and freeload off my parents. (3 years ago)
Dremel some holes in the mobo tray, and run my cabling through them, increasing airflow and looks. leads over Leave it as is, it just looks ugly, no big deal, and dremeling could be risky... (3 years ago)

I picked Replace them with quieter, non-lit-up fans (Probably sharkoon ones) and then leave it on in it's new silence and majesty. over Leave it as it is. The current fans suit the case, look really cool, and the sharkoon ones are white, which would look odd. Maybe even add more lights. (3 years ago)
The LEDs are inside the fans, impossible to add a switch to, or turn off. Covering them is also impossible because of this, as it'd block the airflow. I'll probably replace and add some lights with a switch or whatever when I can.
I picked Try and find a good open source project I can get stuck into and get my C++ skills up-to-scratch - see if I can regain my drive? over Look for another hobby - what will become your job is not something you should be doing all of the time. (3 years ago)

I decided to do Something else rather than Buy a second cheap PCI-E Graphics card (£20) and a third monitor (£150) and bask in triple screen goodness in Ubuntu and Beryl. or Buy two new 320GB SATA hard drives (£55 Each) and two SATA DVD writers (£20 Each) and dirty my PC with windows, and watch that Raid 0 SATA array speed my hard drives up. I got two 500GB drives.
