If it's too costly, tiring, or time-consuming then you can just stop. Go at least once to get a feel for the place. Once you've tried it, you can measure enjoyment gained against hassle endured. Without actually going, you're missing the former data point.
I'd be intrigued to hear about this.
It's not like the travel time's going to be better any other time.
Biking will hurt afterwards; any chance to bike to a bus and then bus/T back to home?
