Doxory?

susannah has decided I made a tasty fruit pudding for kitchen-challenged dorm dwellers using frozen fruit and a packet of Ikea dessert sauce mix. This isn't something I would ordinarily do, but dorm without adequate kitchen. There's this blog called Ikea Hacker where people submit hacks of Ikea products.

My choice: Submit my recipe to them, since it's technically a hack of an Ikea product, even though everything else on there is furniture or textiles.

Spread your recipe and love to the world! You can probably get away with submitting it anonymously if you don't want any association.

I'm also a kitchen-challenged dorm dweller. I'd love to have the recipe.

There's a difference in awesome between being associated with instant dessert sauce mix, and associated with hacking instant dessert sauce mix.

you can submit anonymously and/or make clear that this was specifically an idea prompted by being a college student without a kitchen, and that it's a tasty thing you can still make if you're frustrated by a lack of facilities for making other (more complicated) tasty things.

Not submit the recipe to them, since it's not furniture or textiles OR I don't want my name on the internet associated with instant dessert sauce mix.

not wanting your name associated with it is the only reason no to.

It sounds like it's not something you're proud of :) You're under no obligation to submit it, so why trouble yourself?

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
