Doxory?

susannah has decided So there's this mini-Burning-Man-in-New-England thing called Firefly (http://fireflyartscollective.org/). I'm from New England and I'd like to go to Burning Man some year, but can't swing it this year.

Like, uh, moving.

Go to Firefly this summer

geoff
Firefly is very different from Burning Man proper, but also worthwhile. Plus it's much cheaper and much easier to get to, so it's not a huge commitment like the burn in Nevada is. And it's only 2-3 days.

even leaving early amid the weather last time, it was still a fun weekend

I got really excited there when I saw england, but then saw the new :( I want a burning man in the UK! Firefly should be good, you know you'll enjoy it!

burning man is about community and relationships now-a-days firefly could connect you to some good people....

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
