kyoumeisha has decided Time consuming hobby to develop skill in, since needlework is starting to bore me.

I found some awesome knives on sale for cheap, which means no hiking to a studio for wood block carving.

Monotype letter press

though these aren't mutually exclusive -- the letter press is the best way to mass-produce woodblock art. If I need greeting cards at some point, I may do a linocut and then print it on the press.

Wood block carving sounds more versatile and seems like it allows more creative flow.
