Doxory?

susannah has decided Calendars! I have a Linux desktop and an OS X desktop and I need some way of keeping track of appointments, meetings, and when people are visiting, across both computers. I could just use Google Calendar or I could keep using iCal on the laptop, use Sunbird (or Lightning) on the desktop, and sync them... somehow (suggestions appreciated!)

Exciting poly scheduling app! Plus, I convinced it to take my localized calendar of Jewish holidays!

My choice: Use Google calendar

Or Hiveminder! (hiveminder.com)

Google Calendar rocks my socks. Use Hiveminder for tasks and Google Calendar for events and things.

Sadly, iCal can't accept changes to a published calendar. This space is ripe for someone to make a killing. I don't like the Google answer, either :/

I <3 google calendar (though my use-case is about 50% my computer, 50% public/other people's computers)

simple solution: buy a small notebook and a cross ion pen (or some other small pen). i went to this after i got fed up trying to keep track of appointments on my computer. outside of that i say use google calendar or some other online solution. that way you don't have to keep two sets of books or worry about synching. Plus, you can get at your appointments from any available terminal that way.

Use iCal + Sunbird + exciting undetermined synchronization solution

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
