Doxory?

zev has decided oblivion crashes on my virgin XP install every 5 minutes. it doesn't do this on my old install, but that one is on a failing hard drive (and crashes occationally, too)

I forgot that reinstalling requires a working floppy drive (installing onto SATA). I'll continue playing for now, and reinstall when my new drive arrives.

I picked something else

try to ignore the crashes and keep on playing

nuke the new XP install and try again so that maybe the game doesn't die so often

Windows is the definition of insanity ("Insanity is trying the same thing and expecting a different result.")

Uhm, how about: stop playing silly games that crash your machine?

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
