Tech job - business casual - black slacks and a button-down shirt. If you're not managerial/consulting, a suit might project the wrong message... most tech types don't usually wear them, so it's kind of strange to wear one at a fair. Interview, maybe, but not the fair.

I think the industry and sector you want to work for matters. For military contractors, more formal, for startups and software, less formal.
