Doxory?

Yoyo has decided What kind of T-pass to get? Choose neither if you think I should walk/bike in the cold instead.

Bus. I live closer to it than to the subway, and it should suffice for my commuting needs.

Get a bus only pass and load up a charlie card with cash, unless you use the subway enough to justify the extra cost of a linkpass.

My choice: Linkpass - bus and subway. More expensive (~x2) but more generally useful.

support public transit. ra! ra! ra!, and bike anyway

Either get the full pass or bike everywhere.

basically, IMHO it comes down to "will you recoup the cost?" based on how often you're commuting. If you're traveling every weekday and it's a subsidized pass, I'd bet you'll make it up easily.

Subway is very convenient when it's cold and you don't want to wait for the bus. Plus, getting to downtown Boston or the airport via bus is uncomfortable.

Having a T pass in college convinced me to randomly go into Boston more often (especially when it's unpleasant to walk over the bridge). I'm all for people exploring the city more.

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
