Doxory?

Ian has decided I went past flickr's limit of 200 visible photos. Oops.

Might as well. It's cheap and amuses me. And the API is making my blogging easier.

My choice: Cough up the $25/year and upgrade; eventually I might get a real camera and it will be worth it

they have nice apis so you can always get your data back if you change your mind

How long did it take you to get to 200? If you think you'll take more pictures because you don't have the limit, definitely (I take a few thousand a year but only upload a subset to flickr.)

Let it be, my camera phone takes crappy pictures anyway

upgrade when you get a real camera
trs
Wait to upgrade until you have that real camera.

wait until you've got a real camera. (also, grrrr, Flickr's restrictions on free accounts are so stupid. if you use the service at all, eventually you get forced to upgrade to a paid account -- it's not a free account a la LJ, it's an unlimited-length "try before you buy" promotion.)

Find another hosting service that's not as silly?

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
