Since I am not good at falling asleep even when tired, trying to be obedient to Doxory and getting more sleep still resulted in getting less sleep. Oh well.

More sleep works for me. Might not work for you.

Wake up really early so you're tired, refuse to nap that day, and go to bed early. Then you'll be more dayshifted.
I believe shifting through less sleep is more efficient

Taking a three-hour nap, staying up all day, and then going to bed early did it for me. So, "yes".
