Doxory?

melike: I have music in my head, but I can't write it down because I can't decide how to notate it.

Put it in a midi sequencer without being bogged down by notation and instrument choices (like drums and weird midi noises).

Any brilliant advice would certainly be appreciated. Shameless advocacy is often good, too.

Put it in a score notation program so you'll have music that you can actually read and make a midi file out of.

I've always had trouble writing into midi, and have generally used some kind of notation, generally something I've come up with, to avoid the midi getting horribly confused about timing and suchlike.

Just play it on something

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
