Doxory?

melike has decided I have a desk, but no deskspace because I have both a desktop and laptop on it. My laptop is my primary computer.

I now keep the laptop in the living room (my parents are happy because I get to "sit with them" and they get to distract me while I'm tring to read e-mail), and use the desktop whenever I'm in my room. However, I don't like moving my laptop around too much because I keep having to plug/unplug a dozen (not really, just three or so) peripherals each time I change a location. I don't want to throw my desktop away because I'm sentimental like that, and it still works.

I picked something else

Make the desktop your primary computer, have empty desk space you can draw/write on, etc.

Keep laptop on desk, and continue writing/drawing on bed, couch, floor, etc.

lakmiseiru: Keep laptop on a coffee table/couch, use desk for writing.
sco: Why do you need two computers? The laptop is more mobile, uses less energy and takes up less desk space. Ditch the desktop.
katili: You could just move the laptop... the nice thing about them is that they are mobile :)
