lakmiseiru has decided Cities... moving as a grad student for ~6 years.

In the end it came down to the city; I like Seattle better. Hard, hard, hard.

Seattle will probably have more people you like, more mountain opportunities, an awesome ocean, ISLANDS, and tons of fun hippies around. The city is too progressive for its own good, almost.

I like Arizona weather better, but I think Seattle may have more social stuff to do. I've never spent significant time in either place as an adult, though, so it's an entirely uninformed opinion.
