blood and gore in moderation! (nothing I draw is too extreme, anyway.)

If you're concerned about worrying people, ease into it slowly.
Draw it and put it up under a separate account? Or in its own category with a "potentially disturbing images ahead do not reflect on the artist" warning before entering?
Use an alias.
Ideas shouldn't be censored. The idea of blood and gore is real and it is good for people to think about it sometimes. At the same time, extreme blood and gore might be an unnecessary assault on the senses. Everything in moderation.
Any brilliant advice would certainly be appreciated. Shameless advocacy is often good, too.

Draw blood and gore, but associate it with some identity that isn't linked to you.
