Doxory?

photon has decided I'm flying from OAK->BOS on January 4. My frequent flier miles are with American Airlines (I have Gold status with them).

Went with American. The price dropped four dollars in the last 24 hours, too! I also have four upgrades... hmmm...

My choice: Go with American and get a ton more miles (it'll put me over 25,000 since July); pay about $204
