Compromise: dark burgundy. It looked weird at first, but then I liked it. Not sure if I'm ready for black yet. (Also, for people who suggested nailpolish remover: I guess my question implied "should I wear black nailpolish and go out into public with it?") Also, I was too lazy to go out and buy it, hah.

It's fun, and if you don't like it you can use acetone to take it off. Good at hiding bad nails, too!
