Bathroom makes it easier to clean, but beware of shutting the door when you shower if Lenin needs quick access. I personally prefer a nook off the kitchen, or something else with non-carpet flooring.

1- it doesn't matter where if you clean it thoroughly regularly 2- if you don't, litter is pretty gross on your bare feet, regardless of where it is. 2b- stepping on litter right after you've showered is so ick of a feeling. It's like sandy feet at a beach, but worse

the litter box needs to be accessible most if not all the time, so if you tend to leave the bathroom door open, then the bathroom is fine. Otherwise bathroom won't work at all.

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
