Doxory?

melike: I want to read 100 Years of Solitude. I took up to the highest level of Spanish in high school, but I haven't touched the language in over four years.

Just read it in English; you'll probably miss a lot of the nuances if you try the Spanish version.

Be hardcore and read it in its original language. But you should probably build up to it by reading easier Spanish books first.

Try the Spanish version; if it becomes too difficult switch to English. And treat this as an opportunity to practice your Spanish!

English then Spanish?

Any brilliant advice would certainly be appreciated. Shameless advocacy is often good, too.

Read the English version first, then read the Spanish version.

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
