peggusus has decided Week-long vacation. I have a 512MB card in my digital camera.

1GB for $18... totally worth the lack of anxiety. :D

My choice: Buy an additional card now, just in case. I've been known to take 300 pictures just visiting friends who live two hours away.

Bah. Take lots of pictures, delete worthless ones. It's not like you're wasting paper...

512 should be fine, geez. Maybe the limit will keep me from taking pictures of every bird I see, or something.

lower the picture quality... it's not like you're gonna get prints of all of them, right?

The real question is, what do you do with the pictures afterwards?
