Doxory?

melike has decided I have an idea for an electronic "arrangement" of an English madrigal. I got started on it, but it's going to be a lot of work, and I'm afraid that it might sound like crap.

Meh. I spent countless hours on this and finally decided to give up. It sounds like crap, so I'm ditching it. Shouldn't have tried it!!! I could have been doing something else this whole time.. boohoo.. whatever......

Give up on it and work on more original compositions.

My choice: Keep working on it and see what happens. It'll be good practice, and it if turns out to be crap, so what.

The idea sounds neat. Practice is good, and one woman's crap is another person's gold :^)

This isn't the last composition you'll ever do, and your musical career could conceivably last for many years (e.g. the Rollling Stones) What you learn now from mashing your ears against teh Madrigal will make you that much more awesome an original composer in the future.

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
