Doxory?

xxplatinumjules has decided My daughter isn't getting along with the kids at her new daycare.

Spent the last couple of days there at the daycare with her, and took her to a couple peoples houses. She seems to finally be getting the hint, I think we'll be okay.

My choice: give it a little more time.. after all, she's never really been around other kids before

Socialization takes time. It's only been a week...

Give her some time.

But if it keeps up, switch.

but start looking, just in case...

Figure out if there's a good reason why she isn't getting along with the other kids first though.

Wait a bit, then try shifting.

coolworld, peggusus, Alex, jtu, glasser, seph, jesse, jmorzins, Ian, ntn, Schuyler, rowr_grl, quince, dzm, HoodOrnament, Mark, kevinr, cshiley, acme, Yoyo, paigep

find a new daycare for her to go to where she might adjust better

if you can, find out what the problem is. i remember hating certain daycares as a kid, while loving others.

depends on the kind of not getting along. being teased? move. being insular? wait it out. being bullyish? this needs intervention and needs to be stopped by an adult immediately. Really.

Depends on what you mean by getting along. Is she being teased or is she just being shy and a bit anti-social? If she's just being anti-social, she's young and probably just needs more time there, but if the other kids have malicious intent, I'd try to find a nicer crowd of kids.

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
