Doxory?

melike has decided What to do with my blog...

The main page has a small snippet of the latest blog entry. You can go to the blog to read the rest. Now the main page looks clean enough. (www.queenoflub.com if you want to see.)

I picked something else

Put the blog on the main page. That way, both the blog and the other areas of the site get more visibility. Also, I might feel motivated to write more often? (Currently the main page has 10-word summaries for the latest three blog entries.)

A site only being seen for one part of it's many functions + that one part being a major clutter = bad.

Make the navigation/pointers to other parts of your site more obvious.

I think summaries of the current entries is reasonable.

Maybe you can use some "HIGHLIGHT" link to show other parts fo your website.

Put the blog in a separate part of the site, because 1. Some people once thought my website was simply a blog, and it's much more than that, and 2. a blog clutters up the main page of the site.

Once a blog, always a blog. People can read it if they want, otherwise it takes up all the space.

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
