kevinr has decided I've picked Farscape up again, after a several-year hiatus, and I just finished the first season. I've got the second season already. I'm enjoying Farscape all right, but I do find it to be spotty. (For some context as to my tastes, I really enjoyed Firefly, and I'm quite tired of Star Trek-style "another day, another planet", "Big Reset Button" episodic SF shows. I like shows with long story arcs I can sink my teeth into, as it were.)
Got distracted when I got to California and haven't kept up with it. "Oops." Maybe I'll pick it up again later and decide then.

I picked something else
Shell out the ~$200 for the third and fourth seasons of Farscape on DVD and the Peacekeeper Wars miniseries. You can afford it, and you want to know how the story ends, right? (Besides, the first season had the seeds of something interesting, even if the execution fell through as often as not. Also, Claudia Black is hot.)

Just get the third and fourth seasons for now, and get the Peacekeeper Wars miniseries later if you still want them after watching the other two seasons.

Keep the receipts, watch it all in one sitting, and if you don't like it ... return it.
Enh, that's a lot of money for something you're not head-over-heels in love with / physical media? *sooo* 20th century / there are better things to watch. (Suggestions, please!)

if you want to know how the plot arcs go, i've found wikipedia to be great. eg, i don't actually want to watch Buffy, but i was curious about some plot stuff, so i just read the episode summaries and character histories. it's free, and doesn't eat as much time.

Rent Farscape instead of buying it.

Borrow from a friend to watch the ending, then see if it's worth it. Most shows go downhill, so it if was only mediocre initially, don't spend the $200.
