Doxory?

erin: I received a replacement from apple for my broken laptop. The CSR claims that I don't need to send the accessories (power adaptor, remote, etc) back with my old computer.

Trust her and just send back the computer? They are going to throw most of that stuff away since it's used anyway.

Did you get her name and the call time? If they protest you should be able to cite that, and send it anyways. You lose nothing.
kyrandil
But can you or anyone you know use the other peripherals?
madcaptenor
The worst that could *reasonably* happen is that when they get the computer without the accessories, they call you and say "send us the accessories". Do you think apple is reasonable? I'm not sure.
Ian
It's probably not worth Apple's hassle to deal with those accessories or even ask for you to send them.
seph
You can always send it back if they ask.
photon
Might be nice to have extras. Hawk them on eBay or Craigslist?
glasser
They don't need them.
aletta
esp if you have a confirmation number for the call.
quince
extra accessories are very useful, given that mine tend to break much faster than my laptop does

AppleCare's pretty chill about accessories. I think more than anything they just don't want to deal with handling them. If they bill you, whine.

Think that she misunderstood my question and send everything back.

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
