sintil8 has decided a male friend of mine is starting to show something resembling romantic interest. i don't want to end up hating him and knowing some of his promiscuous sexual past makes me uncomfortable, but i also feel like i am developing an attraction to him.

there is a difference between promiscuous and sketchy, indeed. my last boyfriend admitted he had been promiscuous but turned out to be sketchy as well and this friend, who is a good friend, is still rebounding from what i think is his first girlfriend breaking up with him a year ago. he's confused. i'm confused. maybe in six months or so it'll be clearer but for now, we're "just friends."
