I have been looking for this ring for a long time, and it wasn't probable that I was going to find it before I left here. So... meh. But on the bright side, yay I can wear a Brass Rat again. It's been horrible not wearing one. truly. AND I didn't need to find the proof of purchase; they found my original order for me. I haven't told my mom yet; my dad knows, but my mom will be pretty disappointed in my irresponsibility. oh well...

I think the price goes up after graduation? So if you're going to buy the replacement, do it now, or make sure that that $100 price won't go up after graduation.
Report it to the police, ask where it might have last been seen, etc. Then get a replacement.
keep looking anyway, if it turns up, you now have 2 class rings!
do you have to tell your parents in this case?
