..but I think I will continue to get a prescription for contact lenses too. I prefer them for when I want to go out places. I just can't handle the day to day. And I'm gonna invest in a nice case for those glasses. And actually use it...

Glasses totally rock as an accessory! The right frames can definately bring out other features in your face and eyes. Plus they add personality and style.
Less likely to hurt your eyes
Poorly-taken-care-of glasses are *much* less likely to damage your eyes the way poorly-taken-care-of-contacts can.
What jtu said. Also, either get prescription sunglasses or sunglasses lenses which clip to your glasses (I promise there are some that don't look too dorky.)
If you mess up with glasses you risk not being able to see for a couple of days. If you mess up with contacts you risk not being able to see ever again. Either get disposable contacts or glasses.
people look cute in glasses
glasses don't *need* much taking care of

Contacts so you can wear sunglasses this summer, and save up for lasik if you can get it.
Get dailies. That way, you don't need to take care of it, you just need the next days'.
Glasses suck totally!! And sure contacts burn a little, fall out, and somehow collect makeup but that is the price we pay for beauty!
I love, love, love having had radial kerotonomy that eliminated my need for glasses over 13 years ago. I had worn glasses from second grade through college graduation. Then I switched to contacts which I handled for 8 years. I liked contacts much better for sports. Now I wake up being able to see who's sleeping next to me...

...can you get both, and switch based on how you feel a particular day? glasses require less upkeep in my mind.
