Doxory?

lakmiseiru has decided My prefrosh left her coat here after CPW. She also forgot to return my second spare room key. She lives about 15 miles away, though she may/may not have a car (but could likely take commuter rail given where she lives).

She apparently can't get a ride to MIT or drive here, but is quite willing to mail me the key. So I'll mail her the coat - it seems like a fair trade.

Insist that she bring the key with her and make her come here to pick the coat up.

Though say it in a nice way that makes it sound like it'll be more convenient for the both of you.

It's good to keep the keys safe.

Just ask her how willing she'd be, rather than insist, though.

I'm not sure I'd *insist* but I'd push for it

My choice: Just mail her the coat - it's only ~$5 and the key is probably a lost cause.

Mail the coat, ask her to mail the key; come up with phrasing to guilt her into it. (Note that commuter rail will be about $5)
glasser
and ask her to mail you the key?
quince
is she coming to MIT? This oddly changes my mind.

Meet in between and exchange both key and coat?

Mail her the coat once she mails you the key (insured, of course).

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
