lakmiseiru has decided The MIT Pagan Students' Group is actually doing Bealtaine this year. Unfortunately the style of their rituals is very different from mine; the PSG is largely eclectic Wicca and I'm a Celtic Reconstructionist.
I'll celebrate in my own way on Sunday (though Wednesday is the correct date, the ritual is after sundown so it wouldn't be the right day anyways).

Go anyways - the group could use the support and you have enjoyed some parts of the Samhain ritual in the past

My choice: Not bother - last Samhain you were pretty uncomfortable with the way the ritual was done and the differences in belief make you feel kind of funny - not exactly offended, but not 100% happy either

I find vaguely similar then critically different even weirder. (I have more trouble with Episcopal services than catholic)
