ternus has decided Try to acquire an early-morning desk shift?

It's actually nice to wake up in the morning and get stuff done.

My choice: Yes! You can tool in the morning, it'll keep you dayshifted (normalizing your sleep schedule) and it's money.

Morning desk isn't bad; you can sleep if you're careful and it's useful for getting up early. Being at desk in the AM is a lot less annoying because nobody's really doing much of anything.

Keeping your sleep schedule normalized is important.

Morning tooling time can be good, since there are fewer people up to distract you. Just don't get both dayshifted AND nightshifted. It is NOT a clever idea.

Think of the productivity! Work with few distractions is golden.

No! It'll keep you dayshifted, it'll impair your ability to stay up late at night, and being stuck at desk can be annoying.

If you make a stupid choice because a website tells you to, it's your own damn fault.
